Leviathan Tiles Make Big Entrance at London Luxury Pad
When thin porcelain tiles were chosen for the interiors of the apartments within a lavish North London development, our extra-large Leviathan tiles were the only choice for a big first impression. The Porcel-Thin love didn’t stop there for this city developer, our Jerusalem limestone effect tiles and Mona Lisa travertine look tiles were chosen for other rooms owing to their opulent wow-factor!
Large-format porcelain tiles in the hallway
This posh property in Swiss Cottage, Camden, is set to impress before the owners of the individual apartments even open their doors. The shared hallway, which leads to a number of luxury pads that each include the finest tiles from the Porcel-Thin collection, features extra-large (2400 x 1200 mm) Leviathan tiles to the floor for the ultimate bright and airy welcome.
The understated blue/grey veining is illuminated beautifully by the silver/white lustre of our Onyx Bianco marble effect porcelain tiles, the size of which makes the patterning even more authentic in its consistency and remarkable in its overall effect.
Water-resistant and slip-resistant bathroom tiles
The first bathroom in this North West London luxury dwelling has been expertly fitted with 900 x 900mm Mona Lisa Fossilien travertine tiles to both floor and walls. Exuding earthy warmth, these travertine effect porcelain tiles with their gold fossil highlights create an inviting wash space. The natural nuance of the matt surfaces is complemented to perfection by the addition of wooden fixtures and chrome fittings and is in-keeping with this year’s most sought after interior design trends.
While the second bathroom, also on-trend, favours the cool and contemporary sleek styling that’s mastered by the addition of our structured Pierre Blue Aged Limestone Porcelain Tiles (1000 x 1000cm). Again used for both walls and floors for uninterrupted urban-flair with a nod to concrete-chic, the addition of white and chrome in this space give it a fresh and functional feel.
The walls and floors of both bathrooms benefit from textured surfaces to provide maximum slip-resistance when wet and dry. While an untreated matt surface on natural stone tiles or the structured surface of a concrete tile would create problems with regard to wear, water-resistance and dirt-resistance in the bathroom, the power of Porcel-Thin will protect against all here.
Lovely limestone for the luxurious lounge
This lovely lounge manages to strike the perfect balance of comfort and cool with 1000 x 1000cm Crepito Cream Aged Limestone Porcelain Tiles for the flooring as well as thunder-grey furnishings and chrome fixtures and fittings for a luxury finish. The floor tiles are light and bright but cream in tone for a more convivial contemporary air that’s complemented by white accessories and gorgeous floor-to-ceiling windows for excellent views over the city.
