Next month we’re treating ourselves to a big day out in London. And no, we don’t mean a Thames boat cruise or a trip to Madame Tussauds – our idea of fun is showcasing Porcel-Thin’s ultra-thin porcelain tiles at the London Homebuilding and Renovating Show!
Running from 4 to 6 October 2019 at the ExCel Arena, the Homebuilding & Renovating Show is a three-day festival of ideas and inspiration. This year’s London event is as big as ever, with a gaggle of experts from the interior design world as well as hundreds of exhibits from Britain’s best designers. What’s more, Porcel-Thin will have our very own exhibit at this year’s show!
Showing off our latest tiles
At this year’s event, we’re proudly displaying five sets of brand new ultra-thin porcelain tiles. The headline addition is to our range of 2400x1200mm Leviathan tiles, with a new Star Dust marble effect tile in a polished finish. This enormous tile is sure to turn a few heads at the show, not only for its sheer size and thinness but also the luxury look.
We’re also debuting two new tiles from our square-format Jerusalem stone effect collection. Jura Grey and Carbonado both come in 1000x1000mm dimensions and boast the same aged limestone finish as the rest of the Jerusalem stone tiles. Fans of wood interiors will salivate at the new Light Birch 1200x600mm tile with a matt finish, from our popular Pattaya Wood collection. Lastly, the new Black Paris tile is a recent addition to one of our most popular collections – also in 1200x600mm.
You can find us at Stand No. M138, where we’ll be displaying these magnificent new ultra-thin tiles alongside our existing collections. We look forward to having a chat with you and answering any design or product questions you may have.
A treasure trove of design ideas
Besides our display, there are plenty of other reasons to visit this year’s Homebuilding & Renovating Show. For starters, over 330 other exhibitors are setting up shop for the weekend, with an incredibly diverse range of brands from all four corners of the UK and beyond. It’s the perfect chance to explore the latest on-trend products all under one roof and to meet the experts behind them.
We highly recommend the free Advice Centre for help with your ideas, plans, or general questions about interior design. You can book one-on-one consultations with specific advisors across a wide range of specialisms, from Master Builders to experienced architects. Most of the team at Homebuilding & Renovating Magazine will be on hand to advise on any issues you might have.
How do I attend?
If you’ve already made up your mind to attend, we don’t blame you! You can get your tickets in advance via the official website. Booking ahead means you’ll save a third off the ticket price compared to buying at the door. One day tickets cost only £12 in advance, with two-day tickets priced at £18. For the latter you can choose which two days you’d like to attend.
The ExCel arena is located in east London’s newly-renovated Docklands. If you’re coming by train, the arena is only 15 minutes via public transport from both Charing Cross and London Bridge stations. The nearest DLR station is Custom House for ExCel, barely 5 minutes’ walk from the entrance. If you’re coming by car, check out ExCel’s parking map for the best places to park.
If you’re unable to visit us at the Homebuilding & Renovating Show in October, don’t worry. You can always drop by our Bermondsey showroom any time to explore our inspiring range of ultra-thin porcelain tiles. We have dozens of large-scale samples and plenty of bathroom and kitchen displays to feast your eyes on, plus the chance to chat with our expert team.
