Marble Tiled Wetroom
Porcel-Thin approved Pro-Tilers were called on to give an understated overhaul to a south east London wetroom and our Calacatta White Marble Tiles cut the mustard.
A team of professional tilers based in London that specialises in wall and floor tiling for bathrooms and wetrooms – when presented with the challenge of making a wetroom space sing with both functionality and flair – Pro-Tilers knew that Ferrara Calacatta Marble Porcelain Tiles would be ideal.
The combination of a classic white base with contrasting shadowy detailing skilfully printed onto lightweight, super-strong and ultra-low water absorption tiles for an authentic finish, these marble look tiles were used floor to ceiling for a seamless, water-tight, space-giving finish.
Experienced Porcel-Thin tile installers Pro-Tilers not only fitted an underfloor heating system for wetroom warmth but also used a Dukkaboard shower tray to form a drainage base. Our large format porcelain tiles were then fitted flush using adhesives and grouts from Tilemaster Adhesives. Measuring 1200 x 600mm each, fewer tiles were needed to fill the wetroom and fewer grout lines resulted for a sleek look. However – when awkward corners around the window, doorway, shower tray and inbuilt shelving presented – our no-hassle porcelain tiles were simple for the Pro-Tilers boys to cut to size.
In typical Pro-tilers style, as soon as the Blackheath wetroom was fully installed, opulent finishing touches such as LED lighting for the inbuilt shelving and mirror demisters were added. The result, we’re sure you’ll agree is a fabulous, fully functional wetroom space that will last the test of time. Check out this South East London wetroom installation stage-by-stage here.
